A special process for a very special occasion

Telling your love story with fine art stationery

Bespoke Design Process

Have you ever considered going bespoke with your wedding stationery? This is your chance to let your creativity run wild and turn your love story into a stunning work of art that's entirely unique to you. The Bespoke Design Process allows you to work closely with an artist, calligrapher and designer (aka me) to create something truly one-of-a-kind, whether that means incorporating beautiful calligraphy, intricate illustrations, or your own personal touches. Every angle is considered, from your budget to materials, design, calligraphy, fonts, shapes, size, printing styles, finishing touches… the list goes on.

1| How it begins…

Begin your bespoke wedding stationery journey by filling out our form, helping us understand your vision and preferences. We want to ensure that our bespoke process is the perfect fit for your dream wedding.

2| Let’s have a chat…

After receiving your form, we'll schedule a personal consultation call to discuss your ideas, inspirations, and requirements. A €50 booking fee secures your consultation, which is deducted from your final bill once you decide to proceed. This call is to discuss your inspiration board and find out more about you and your partner; or why not pop into the studio for an in-person consultation? This chat will allow me an insight into your personality and taste, what you definitely want to include and a discussion about how best to use your budget for the project. Have your questions ready here and I’d be happy to talk you through the process.

I ask you to prepare a Pinterest board or screenshot style inspiration in advance of our chat so I can get a feel for your personal taste.

3| Time to start designing…

Based on the inspiration board and our chat, I’ll create a moodboard which I’ll ask for your feedback on. Be as direct and informative with your feedback as possible - if there are elements you love or hate let me know. Using your feedback, I’ll design a bespoke stationery concept tailored to your love story and wedding theme. We'll collaborate closely to finalise the designs, ensuring it authentically reflects your style and personality. I'll also source the finest materials and finishes to make your stationery truly exceptional. Throughout this process, you'll have a total of 3 revision rounds to ensure the design aligns perfectly with your vision.

4| The printing process

With the design perfected, I'll entrust your project to my reputable printing partners, known for their commitment to quality and precision. Your stationery will come to life with artistry and attention to detail.

Based on the print finish you’ve chosen at the beginning stages (hot foiling, embossing, letterpress or digital), processing time can vary a little. Anything other than digital printing requires a custom die plate to be made which can add an extra week or so to the processing time. All-in-all the printing should take no longer 2-4 weeks to complete and then it’s nearly time for you to hold the final designs in your hands!

5| The finishing touches

Once the printed designs have arrived it’s time to carefully add the finishing touches - envelope addressing, guests names in calligraphy, ribbons, threads, wraps, belly bands, wax seals, envelope liners, flower petals… whatever details you’ve chosen to accessorise your stationery suite and tie it all together.

6| It’s delivery time

Each piece of your personalised stationery undergoes meticulous inspection and thoughtful packaging to ensure it arrives in impeccable condition, ready to leave a lasting impression on your guests. For your peace of mind, I provide shipping with tracking so you can keep an eye on your order every step of the way. I want your experience with me to be as stress-free as possible, so you can focus on enjoying every moment of your special day.
